Drop-in Class Description

Drop-in classes are free for students and members of campus recreation facilities.

B=Beginner; I=Intermediate; A=Advanced
Intensity Levels: 1-Low; 2-Medium; 3-High

 

20/20/20:  Have only an hour to get your workout in? No problem!  This class combines 20 minutes of step, 20 minutes of kickboxing and 20 minutes of strength training to firm you up and slim you down! B,I,A: Level 1,2

 

Ab Lab:  With focus on the abdominal and lower back muscles, this class will strengthen your core, and tighten your abs for better functional strength and a midsection worth writing home about! B,I,A: Level 1-3

 

All About Arms: Get ready to blast all the muscles of your upper body. Chest, back, biceps, triceps, and shoulders will be the primary focus of this 30 minutes strength training segment. B,I,A: Level 1,2

 

BOSU Conditioning:  Challenge your coordination and functional strength like never before! BOSU balls (stands for Both Sides Up) will provide a complete workout—total body strength, cardio and balance training—like you have never experienced before. B,I,A: Level 2,3

 

Flex:  This is a simple, easy-to-follow, yet demanding class that will tone up every major body part, including those muscles sometimes forgotten about!  Equipment options for this class may include: the step, stability balls, dumbbells, bands and bars, used with controlled and slow movements to tone and strengthen. B,I,A: Level 1,2

 

Guts, Guns, and Buns: With focus on the classic "trouble zones", this class will tone up your abs, arms and butt- in just 30 minutes. B, I, A: Level 1-2

 

Kickboxing:  This kick-butt class combines easy-to-follow choreography, with focus on technique, balance, and control.   Be ready to jab, hook, roundhouse and totally empower yourself. B,I,A: Level 2-3

 

Lower Body Blast:  Ever wished there was a class that focused on just your rear assets?  Using a variety of strength training equipment, this class will tone and lift what your mama gave you! B,I,A: Level 1,2

 

No Limits Cardio: This high intesity, interval cardio class will take you to the limits - kickboxing, step, and hi/low formats are used to hit every miscle group. Ideal for participants who like variety in their cardio! B,I,A Level 1,2

 

Power Lunch: This energizing circuit workout will use stations to combine cardio, strength, and abs training providing you with a total body workout in minimal time! B,I, A: Level 1,2,3

 

Start it Up! This 45 minutes class is the perfect place to begin for people just starting a fitness routine. Participants will get a full body workout including introduction to various cardio programs, strength training, abs and flexibility training. B: Level 1,2

 

Step n' Tone:  This class will use class will use step moves, interspersed with strength training, for a total body workout. B,I,A: Level 2

 

Sunrise Surprise!:  Sounds cliché, but it’s a surprise every time!  If you are the type of person who is easily bored, this is the class for you.  Every class the instructor will pick a new format to challenge and help keep your body in shape.  From Kickboxing to Conditioning, get ready to get fit! B, I,A: Level 1-2

 

The Edge: Test your fitness to the limit. This super high intensity class will combine jump rope techniques with high intesity plyometric exercises for ultimate cardio workout - in only 30 minutes. I,A: 2,3
