UIC Men’s Rugby competes in the Chicago Area Rugby Football Union and is open to all undergraduate students, no experience needed.  The team’s competitive season is during the fall, when we compete against other area colleges such as DePaul, Northwestern, Northern Illinois, University of Chicago, and Loyola for a bid to move onto nationals.  There is also a less competitive spring season that allows us to compete with a wider variety of teams, travel (i.e. Ireland Tour 2009), and participate in tournaments.  We have a staff of five coaches who are willing and more than happy to teach new players and build on the talents of those of you with experience.  During both seasons the team practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays and has games on Saturdays.  Practice for the Spring 2008 Season will be located at the REC center in the indoor soccer court behind the rock climbing wall from 8:30 PM-10:30 PM.  If you are looking for an experience unlike any other feel free to contact us.
